Coronavirus: all COVID-19 news from the Institut Pasteur

On January 9, 2020, Chinese health authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO) officially announced the discovery of a novel coronavirus (first named 2019-nCoV, then officially SARS-CoV-2). This new virus is the pathogen responsible for the infectious respiratory disease called COVID-19 (CoronaVIrus Disease). Following the announcement of the first cases and the declaration of the epidemic by the Chinese authorities, the Institut Pasteur (Paris) put in place a novel coronavirus Task Force.
