The Institut Pasteur is a research center of international renown ideally located in the very heart of Paris. Each year the institute hosts a multitude of scientific and medical conferences and meetings as well as events on a variety of themes.

About the Conference center

Three auditoriums are available for your conferences, seminars and other events. 

Seating capacity is between 125 and 529. A strong team in on hand to help with step-by-step preparation of your event, from the logistics phase right through to technical support. 

The Conference hall, or "Espace Congrès", designed specifically for conference delegates, is equipped with modular dining facilities for sit-down lunches in pleasant surroundings.

Scientific Information Center Auditorium

Two Configuration Options

Integrated within the Scientific Information Center building, the auditorium and its spacious, naturally lit, air-conditioned adjacent areas offer two seating configurations:

  • 400 seats with folding chairs featuring writing tablets, including an integrated TV studio platform for hybrid meetings.
  • 529 seats with folding chairs featuring writing tablets, arranged with a traditional stage setup.

Two adjacent halls (285 m² and 200 m²) are available for participant reception, poster sessions, exhibitions, and catering.

  • Organizer's office
  • Catering prep room (for approved vendors), accessible via service elevator and equipped with a walk-in cooler.

 

 

 

Duclaux Lecture Theater

Amphithéâtre Duclaux - Institut Pasteur

The historic Duclaux Lecture Theater is located in the Emile Duclaux building and was entirely renovated in 2013. It offers a prestigious setting that can accommodate up to 276 people.

The main entrance and foyer located adjacent to the lecture theater are also available to accommodate participants and set up a reception area. (The foyer and the main entrance can accommodate approximately 120 and 160 people respectively.)

 

 

 

François Jacob Auditorium

The auditorium is located in the new François Jacob building for the study of emerging diseases and has seating capacity for 125 people in a distinctly modern setting. 

The auditorium is fully equipped with a sound system and video projection equipment.

Les modules de l'espace Congrès

Espace congrès Institut Pasteur

This space features three 100 m² modules that can be combined or separated using movable partitions.

These modules can accommodate:

  • Up to three parallel sessions of 80 people each (theater style)
  • Seated lunches for 240 guests
  • Cocktail receptions or meetings
