Our Sars-Cov-2 research projects

Our response and the impact of our research projects
in tackling the COVID-19 crisis

The Institut Pasteur has continued to strengthen its response since 2020. All our scientific efforts are firstly to protect the health of the population as a whole, via our expertise in epidemiology and modeling, and secondly to improve treatment options for individuals, with several projects to further our understanding of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19, and to develop safe and efficient solutions.

Our Covid-19 Models

At the beginning of 2021, the Institut Pasteur set up a dedicated website (in French) to share the work carried out by the Mathematical Modelling Of Infectious Diseases Unit, lead by Simon Cauchemez. This website allows you to consult data about the dynamics of the epidemic and the impact of control measures.
