True or False: stem cells at UniStem Day 2025

Breaking down preconceived ideas about life - that's what we did with high school students at UniStem Day 2025 at the Institut Pasteur!
Every year, this international event dedicated to stem cell research invites thousands of high-school students to discover the professions and major subjects involved in biomedical research.
In France, the event is organized at the Institut Pasteur by LabEx Revive, recently joined by IRSD Institut de Recherche en Santé Digestive Toulouse.
For this year's event, we took part in a game of “True or False” about the human body and health:
- How many rare diseases really exist?
- Are twins' brains identical?
- Does brain development stop at 40?
A whole day to remind us that research also means learning to question what we think we know.
Well done to the high school students who slipped into the shoes of young researchers, and thank you to the colleagues who welcomed them and shared their passion.
