The Institut Pasteur and the Institut Pasteur International Network are assisting the international aid effort by offering diagnostic support and epidemiological surveillance in collaboration with the Guinean Ministry of Health. The Institut Pasteur teams in the WHO Collaborating Center for Viral Hemorrhagic Fevers and Arboviruses are closely involved in the Ebola response. From identification of the Ebola virus in Guinea in March 2014 to the plans for a new Institut Pasteur in Conakry which is due to open in 2016, several Institut Pasteur structures are on the front line in the fight against the virus.

On the occasion of the international congress "Targeting Ebola 2015", held at the Institut Pasteur in Paris on May 28 and 29, 2015, find all the information about research projects involving the Institute in the fight against Ebola.
