At international the level

From its very early days, the Institut Pasteur has enjoyed support from across the world. The original international appeal, launched to provide Louis Pasteur with the resources he needed to improve vaccination against rabies, work with other scientists on a number of infectious diseases and train up new generations of scientists, met with huge success.

The Institut Pasteur's international vocation has never been more important than it is today

Given the increasing globalization of epidemics, the emergence of new viruses and the accelerated transmission of diseases, the Institut Pasteur is a key player in biomedical research at international level, with a network of 33 institutes in 26 countries.

With its research into new vaccines and its work in fields such as genomics, integrative biology, neuroscience and cancer, the Institut Pasteur is a multidisciplinary research institute with a global impact.
