Pasteur Courses: a long-standing tradition of life science teaching at the Institut Pasteur
In 1889 the Institut Pasteur offered the world’s first microbiology course, "Technical Microbiology", and we have made teaching one of our key long-term priorities ever since.
Every year, over 900 students, PhD students, researchers and health professionals attend 40 Pasteur Courses delivered at our Education Center.

The Institut Pasteur hosts over 360 PhD students every year. We offer internationally acclaimed doctoral programs including the outstanding and highly selective international Pasteur-Paris University (PPU) PhD program.
