Graduate Schools

Interdisciplinary doctoral programmes addressing the global health challenges of tomorrow. Developed in partnership with Université Paris Cité, the Institut Pasteur Graduate Schools offer integrated training and research programmes in strategic scientific fields. They bring together research laboratories, teaching teams and academic partners to address major global health challenges. Each Graduate School provides an interdisciplinary research environment, high-level scientific supervision and, depending on the programme, doctoral funding opportunities.

What is a Graduate School?

Graduate Schools are interdisciplinary programmes that create a continuum from Master's to PhD level. They combine education, research and innovation around major scientific themes, supporting students as they progress towards careers in research.

  • 1H-EID

    One Health – Emerging Infectious Diseases Graduate School

    The 1H-EID Graduate School trains a new generation of scientists to address the challenges posed by emerging infectious diseases through a One Health approach, integrating human, animal and environmental health. It brings together expertise in microbiology, immunology, epidemiology, public health and veterinary sciences to foster a transdisciplinary understanding of emerging infectious diseases.

    The ANTIRES Graduate School is dedicated to the study of antimicrobial resistance, one of the major public health challenges of the 21st century.
