Strengthening our role as the world's leading institute for research into living organisms, infectious diseases and population health.

Under the leadership of President Yasmine Belkaid, and in coordination with all its staff, the Institut Pasteur has drawn up an ambitious strategic plan, called “Pasteur 2030”, to meet the major scientific and health challenges of the coming years. With the many risks to human health, such as infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, aging, climate change, chronic inflammatory diseases, cancers (which increasingly affect young people) and neurodegenerative diseases, the Institut Pasteur aims to strengthen its role as the world's leading research organization in understanding and combating these diseases by 2030.
