Incentive programs

In 2025, Institut Pasteur is launching a new edition of its incentive programs, financed largely from its own funds, which demonstrate the independence of the institute's scientific strategy.

The Pasteur Institute's incentive programs aim to support innovative research projects and assist researchers—particularly those at the beginning of their careers—by promoting interdisciplinary approaches, technology transfer, training, and international collaborations within the Pasteur Network across five continents.

Made possible mainly thanks to public donations, incentive programs are key tools for biomedical research and talents development around the world.

Three flagship tools with targeted objectives:
  • PERL – Pasteur Excellence in Research & Leadership
Supports ambitious interdisciplinary projects, encouraging bridges between fundamental, clinical, and applied research.
  • SPARK – Seeded Partnerships for Advancing Research & Knowledge
Aimed at early-career researchers within the Pasteur Network, this program promotes the emergence of new international synergies.
  • P2T – Pasteur Technology Training Program
Enables researchers to train in cutting-edge technologies in France or abroad and to strengthen knowledge exchange within our global network.
