Little is understood about the molecular mechanisms that actually enable the HIV to integrate its genetic material into certain regions of the human genome. The scientists were able to find this link and determine the role played by the chromatin environment and nuclear pores in the replication of HIV-1.

Les mécanismes moléculaires qui permettent l'intégration du matériel génétique du virus du sida dans certaines régions du génome humain sont encore mal compris. Les chercheurs de l'Institut Pasteur ont déterminé le rôle de l’environnement chromatinien et des pores nucléaires dans la réplication du VIH-1.

For 10 years, Total and its corporate foundation working alongside the Institut Pasteur and its International Network in the fight against infectious diseases. A new sponsorship agreement, of EUR 6 million for three years, was signed on 26 January 2015. It will provide funding, for public health and research projects in resource limited countries in order to better understand the therapeutic and vaccine responses in children.

Moderna Therapeutics, a pioneer in the development of messenger RNA (mRNA) Therapeutics™ and the Institut Pasteur, today announced a long-term strategic research collaboration for the discovery and development of drugs and vaccines using Moderna’s mRNA Therapeutics™ platform. Valera, a Moderna venture company, will manage the research collaboration for Moderna.

Phase 1 trial of the vaccine candidate which was developed under an R&D collaboration between Themis Bioscience GmbH and the Institut Pasteur (Paris) shows good immunogenicity, safety and tolerability.

Valera encadrera la recherche collaborative pour Moderna, dont elle est une société de capital-risque.

Organisées par l'Institut Pasteur et Le Monde, les Assises de la Philanthropie 2015 se tiendront le mardi 31 mars 2015 à l’Institut Pasteur, à Paris. Cette quatrième édition se penchera sur les nouveaux visages de la philanthropie en France et à l'international.

L’étude clinique de phase 1 du vaccin candidat développé dans le cadre d'une collaboration de R&D entre Themis Bioscience GmbH et l'Institut Pasteur montre que le vaccin est immunogène, inoffensif et bien toléré.
