As a leader in the study of infectious diseases and public health, the Institut Pasteur conducts innovative research on major global health challenges such as HIV, malaria, dengue, tuberculosis, leishmaniasis, encephalitis, malnutrition, cancer and metabolic disorders.
To respond to the increasing need for synergy and multidisciplinary collaborations between researchers from the Institut Pasteur Paris, the Institut Pasteur International Network, and external partners, the Institut Pasteur is creating the Pasteur Center for Global Health Research and Education. Building on the strengths of an extraordinary Network of 32 institutes spread over the 5 continents, the Pasteur Center for Global Health (CGH) aims to gather scientists and students in an ambitious international center to improve the health of populations worldwide. The CGH will support large international research projects to understand, treat and prevent diseases that largely impact global health and develop training programs for the next generation of health workers, researchers and policy makers in low- and middle-income countries.
The Institut Pasteur is hiring a Project Assistant, for a 6-month internship, to participate in the development of the CGH under the CGH Director’s responsibility, Arnaud Fontanet, also responsible for the Sciences Po seminar on Global Outbreak Alert and Response.
