In 2008 the Institut Pasteur signed a collaboration agreement with the Harvard School of Public Health (Harvard University) to formalise their shared work in the field of research into infectious diseases. This collaboration involves a researcher exchange programme between the two campuses so that knowledge and scientific progress can be shared.

Since 1975, the Pasteur-Weizmann Council has been instrumental in promoting and supporting scientific collaborations between the Institut Pasteur and the Weizmann Institute, a world leader in basic and applied research. This collaboration involves International Symposia, exchanges of scientists, joint research projects and fellowships for students and post-doctoral visitors.

In 1985, the Institut Pasteur signed a partnership agreement with the Riken Institute, the premier research institute in Japan, and both institutes are still engaged in collaborative work. In Japan, the Institut Pasteur is also a partner of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases.

Genomic Shanghai

 

The Franco-Chinese Pole in life sciences and genomics in Shanghai
The Franco-Chinese Pole in life sciences and genomics in Shanghai was established in 2002 under the Ministry of Research and Technology of China in partnership with INSERM, CNRS and the Institut Pasteur. It is located in Rui Jin Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
​Within Pole, Chinese and French researcher (CNRS, INSERM and Institut Pasteur) join forces to promote biomedical research in the field of genomics and cancer biology.
