The purpose of this training is to create databases from an observation booklet for field surveys (Epidata), via the Internet (Wepi) or any other type of study (Access).

The training is organized in a theoretical part completed with tutorials on Microsoft Access 2010, Epidata and the Wepi platform.

General program of the course

1- Different stages of data management
2- Introduction to databases
3- Introduction to Microsoft Access
3.1 Creating tables
3.2 Development of the relational diagram
3.3 Creating forms / sub forms
3.4 Programming consistency checks (macro)
3.5 Exploitation of a database (queries and reports)
3.6 Splitting a base
3.7 Options and security of a database
4- Creation of masks of entry under Epidata
5- Creation of input masks under Wepi
Prerequisites: Bachelor's degree +2 (or sufficient experience in the field of database management) 

Candidates must have Cesam or equivalent. 

Applications are evaluated by the Course Committee
