These pages are dedicated to short palindromes repeated on enterobacterial chromosomes. The properties of these repeats : BIMEs, BOCEs, 29 bp repeats, IRUs (also called ERICs) and RSAs will be presented, as well as their distributions on the Escherichia coli chromosome and their structures and nucleotide sequences.
