Comparison of HindIII digested M. tuberculosis H37Rv and M. bovis BCG Pasteur BAC clones using pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) and hybridization with a 0.5 kb PCR probe from the genomic region of the oriC region identified a large tandem duplication in BCG Pasteur in the genomic region of the origin of replication oriC. ORFs are represented as pointed boxes showing the direction of transcription, with colours reflecting the functional classification of the ORFs similar to the ones used by Cole et al, 1998 . More information is available via TubercuList-I or TubercuList-II files.
