Our laboratory had a pioneer role in the development of interspecific crosses in the mouse as tools for gene mapping. We have recently developped two new tools which are available to the scientific community on a collaborative basis.
Interspecific recombinant congenic strains
Another tool available from this web site is the Gene-Link program developed for the analysis of interspecific backcrosses. It runs in DOS environment and includes advanced functions data editing, analysis, and reporting.
