Visual editing
With the use of XML as a native format for NMR data, standard XML editors
and viewers can be used to make this structured information easier to handle.
Below you see an example of
Xeena an XML editor/viewer freely
available from IBM.
In the picture below, the BioMagResBank/XML file bmr2000 has
been opened in a tree display which allows focussing on the interesting parts of the data.
Every text node in the tree structure can be edited by clicking on it. Besides
the data file can be validated against a document type definition (DTD). From this
DTD, the editor can determine which element can be added by the users at which
part in the document.
