Sicilian and Napolitan Phlebotomus fever viruses, Tahyna and Bhanja viruses have been isolated in ltaly. Furthermore there is serologic evidence that: (a) one or more group B arboviruses are circulating in human and animal population; (b) one or more group A arboviruses are circulating in animal population.
The present report gives the results of a serologic survey performed on 92 human sera and animal sera tested respectively against 10 and 6 arbovirus antigens.
