Prélevement effectué en Mars 1955.

Milieu : Prairie d'altitude tempérée.
ISOLEMENT :
Inoculation intra cérébrale sur souriceaux nouveau né.
IDENTIFICATION :
Différent de tous les Flavivirus auquels il a été comparé.
MALADIE :
Humaine : Fièvre, Douleurs oculaires, Courbatures, Anorexie, Hépatosplénomégalie.
Animale : Fièvre, Avortements avec atteinte du foetus (Ovins et Bovins ).
