The Genomics platform carries out collaborative projects with different teams from the Institut Pasteur which is partly funded by the National Genopoles Network (http://rng.cnrg.fr). These large scale genomics projects are carried out using semi-automated techniques. Although the majority of projects concern the complete genomic sequencing of microorganisms or a low coverage genomic sequence, the platform also carries out sequencing of ESTs (Expressed Sequence Tags) and molecular typing of bacterial strains.
