 Recruitment of cofilin during InlB-induced phagocytosis:
Recruitment of cofilin at the entry site of bacteria. Total bacteria associated with cells were visualized in phase contrast and bacteria that are fully or partly extracellular were identified by labeling with anti-InlA Ab prior to cell permeabilisation. Cells were stained with FITC-phalloidin and anti-cofilin Ab. In the merged images, extracellular bacteria are blue, F-actin green and cofilin red. Scale bars, 2 mm.
