Résidence Internationale de l'Institut Pasteur
Our International Residence, located at 31 rue des Volontaires - 75015 PARIS, offers 39 studios for one person, 12 studios for two people, and three individual rooms.
Availability
The Residence is only available for people who do not live in the Paris Region and is limited to :
* Members of the International Network of the Instituts Pasteur and Associated Institutes,
* Students studying at the Institut Pasteur who have validated their registration at the secretarial office in the Teaching Department,
* Trainees who have signed a training agreement that has been approved by the Direction,
* Short-term contract scientits.
* Scientists not working for the Institut Pasteur who are collaborating with Units or Research Groups at the Institute.
Salaried staff working at the Institut Pasteur cannot be accomodated at the Résidence des Stagiaires unless they are on a temporary assignment and come from the International Network of the Institut Pasteur.

Studios and rooms
Studios
The Residence offers « studios for one person » and « studios for two persons ». No overnight guest is allowed. Each studio is furnished and is fitted with a kitchen area that includes hot plates, a fridge, a microwave oven, crockery and kitchen accessories; a shower unit and toilet; a television and a direct telephone line.
A computer connection plug allows connection to the internet via the Institut Pasteur Network.
Blankets and pillows are supplied as are sheets and pillowcases.

Rooms
The individual rooms all have a shower and toilet, a direct telephone line and a television.However, it is not possible to cook in the rooms.
Booking procedure
Persons meeting the general conditions for accomodation should complete an original copy of the Room request form for a stay of less than eight days, or the Accomodation request form for a studio.
The duration of a stay is limited to six months. This may be extended in exceptional circumstances if accomodation is available.
The exact dates of arrival and departure should be specified and these will be used to calculate the deposit an rent due. No reception is possible for new arrivals on Saturday afternoons, Sundays or public hollidays.
Completed and signed forms must be sent to M. Jean MANDART, Résidence Internationale de l’Institut Pasteur , 31 rue des Volontaires, 75015 PARIS; or using the internal mail of the Institut Pasteur. Faxes and scanned documents are accepted.
The person requesting the accomodation or the Unit where they will be working will receive the acceptance or refusal of the application. The decision is made according to availability and only after confirmation that the candidate fulfils the conditions for accomodation.
Once accepted, a deposit corresponding to 20 % of the total price of the stay must be sent to confirm the booking (see Prices). If the deposit is not received at least three weeks before arrival, the accomodation booking cannot be guaranteed.semaines avant l’arrivée, la réservation ne sera pas garantie.
