The Pasteur - Paris University International Doctoral Program

Educational Program

I. Introduction

Our aim is to provide the participating students with top-level scientific knowledge (both theoretical and practical) and general preparation for their professional careers. Therefore, while spending most of the time focusing on his or her dissertation research in the individual labs, regular training sessions will be an integral part of each student’s program.

These courses will also fulfill the Ph.D. program requirements established by the partner Universities.

During the completion of this educational program the students will be well informed regarding the main missions of the Institut Pasteur, namely research in the prevention and treatment of diseases throughout the world.

Additional support and guidance to the students will be provided by the establishment of a Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC)  which will follow the progress made by each of them on their chosen thesis project during the whole program, and until their Ph.D. defense
