Some medical information
1- Anyone admitted to the Teaching Centre of the Institut Pasteur must be up to date with the antitetanus vaccination (the booster should date back to less than 10 years).
2- For some courses, additional vaccinations have to be done prior to attendance. Please check the information regarding courses on the website.
3- Anyone suffering from chronic pathology and pregnant women should take their family doctor’s advice on possible contraindication to follow courses and do lab work.
If handing of pathogens is expected during lab work, the Institut Pasteur Department of occupational medicine (Département de Santé au Travail) will answer your questions and provide advices: phone, 01 45 68 81 36 ; e-mail, secdst@pasteur.fr
4- In case of medical emergency on the campus, the Institut Pasteur emergency services will take care of you : Department of Occupational Medicine (Département de Santé au Travail) between 8.30 A.M and 5.30 P.M and Safety Department (Service Sécurité) outside this period.
