This course, delivered by the Epidemiology and Public Heatth (EPI), is intended for doctors, pharmacists, veterinarians, research scientists and engineers wishing to acquire a good knowledge in the field of circulation of infectious agents and the prevention of induced diseases.

Presentation

This course will be taught in French.

The objective is to allow students to estimate the relationships between infectious micro-organisms, their hosts and the environment. The different means of transmission and the eco-epidemiologic consequences of environmental changes related to human activities, the principles of surveillance and prevention of infectious diseases will be emphasized.
Some epidemiologic situations, among infectious diseases, will be developed with a multidisciplinary approach.

  • Full time, except Saturdays, from January 14, to February 15, 2013 (examinations included)

The Institut Pasteur Diploma will be awarded to students having successfully completed the final examination,

Credits for Masters (second year) from Université Versailles Saint-Quentin, for students registered at this university (about masters).

Credits, exclusively for students registered in Master’s training in PUblic Health - Pasteur/ CNam of Public Health (Pasteur-Cnam).
