Application is by nomination. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
Submission may be done by either the candidate or by the nominator. Whoever begins the submission gives an email address and chooses a password in order to establish an account. This information may subsequently be shared with the other person to upload further documents.

The application consists of the following information:
- The completed nomination form, to be downloaded from the web site:
www.sanofi-institutpasteur-awards.com - Letter of nomination, describing the scientific accomplishments of the candidate and the reasons he/she deserves the prize – 2-3 pages maximum
- Short curriculum vitae of the candidate – 2 pages maximum
- List of the candidate’s 10-15 most significant publications, in order of importance
- Two letters of recommendation from individuals not at the candidate’s institution - optional
- Copies of the candidate’s three most important publications
These documents have to be submitted as pdf files.
The nomination form requests:
- For which scientific category the application is submitted
- Name, title, institution, nationality, mailing address, email and telephones numbers of the candidate
- Employers of the candidate
- One sentence stating the reason(s) for which the candidate is nominated (50 words maximum)
- A short summary of his/her main scientific achievements (250 words maximum)
- The name, title and institution of the two people, not at the candidate’s institution, writing letters of recommendation, if this option is chosen
- Nominator’s name, title, institution, email and telephones.
The nominator may be affiliated with the same institution as the candidate.
Applications should not contain confidential information and must not infringe upon third party intellectual property rights.

The "submit here" button will allow the creation of user's account and permit the uploading of the individual pdf files.
Incomplete or paper applications will not be considered.
The deadline to submit applications is Friday, 4th May 2012, 11.00 pm (Paris time GMT+2)
