The Colloquium

This colloquium will bring together scientists who are interested in research on neglected protozoan diseases. The meeting will gather 8 major research projects funded by the European Commission (EC) under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) in the area of neglected infectious diseases. The programme will be a combination of separate mid-term meetings for the first two days, followed by a common symposium on the third day. The symposium includes:

1) keynote lectures by leaders in the field about the latest scientific developments,
2) presentation of the 8 EC funded research consortia with their latest cutting-edge research results,
3) poster sessions presenting new research on protozoan diseases.

Conference Sessions

The colloquium will address the neglected protozoan diseases of Leishmaniasis, human African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness), and Chagas’ disease.
