CREPIN: a new international course on Clinical Research

Worldwide increasing professionalization of clinical research and strengthening of peer-reviewed journal requirements for publication are two main issues to be addressed by scientists, epidemiologists, and Health care departments involved in clinical research. 

In that context, the Institut Pasteur Clinical Research Department (PIRC) organizes an international annual course to improve participants’ knowledge and skills in implementing and supervising clinical research.

From 22nd to 26th April 2013, the Institut Pasteur of Cambodia welcomes the first session of this course on Clinical Research in the Institut Pasteur International Network (CREPIN).

The course will address all categories of clinical research involving human beings. The program is based on real life situations (working groups on research synopsis) and lectures from experts in the field of clinical research.

The 2013 course is dedicated to applicants from Asia, South East Asia and Indonesia.

Applicant profiles should meet one of the following criteria:
  • Postgraduate students in Medicine, Pharmaceutical Science or Biology with initial experience in clinical research,
  • Physicians, Scientists, Epidemiologists and other postgraduate employees from public or academic entities, also including Non Governmental Organizations.
Other requirements: English speakers; personal laptop (which could be rented otherwise)

Selected applicants will be helped to organize travel and accommodations. There is no fee for course attendance. Fellowships for travel and accommodations could be given to applicants from the regional Institut Pasteur International Network (except those coming from Cambodia).
