Travel to Lyon
With flights, TGV connections (high speed train) and access to a large motorway network, Lyon is easy to reach.
Once in Lyon, getting around is just as simple: underground, tramways, buses, cablecars, car parks and bikes!
By plane
Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport is served by several international airlines and connected to over 70 French and International airports. It is located 20 km from the centre of Lyon city.
A tram, the Rhône-express, links the Saint-Exupéry airport to the city centre (Lyon Part-Dieu railway station) in less than 30 mn.
The tram service operates every days :
* Departures every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
* Departures every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. and from 9 p.m. to midnight
Prices for tram:
- Single: €13 adult / €11 for 12 to 25 year olds / free for the under-12s
- Return: €23 / €19

By train
Lyon has two train stations in the city center (Lyon Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache) and one adjacent to the airport (Lyon Saint-Exupéry).
A high-speed train (TGV) links Lyon to large French and European cities:
- Paris-Lyon: 1h55 (one TGV every 30 minutes during peak periods)
- Marseille-Lyon: 1h40
- Lille-Lyon: 3h
- Geneva-Lyon: 1h50
- Brussells-Lyon: 3h50
- London-Lyon: 5h (Eurostar)

By road
