Exhibition on "the Allosteric Model History" : extension until September 13th

On the occasion of the EMBO conference on Allosteric Interactions held at the Institut Pasteur from 14 to 17 May, the Scientific Media Library and the Archives of the Institut Pasteur present an exhibition on allosteric model history.
In this exhibition conceived by Henri Buc and Jean-Pierre Changeux, you will discover laboratory notebooks, photographs, correspondence, several scientific documents and the famous dice which were used to explain the allosteric model.
You are welcome at the Media Library (access through the 2nd floor of the CIS, every day from Monday to Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm)

  How to add a link to F1000 in Pubmed
 
F1000 logo

F1000 Prime* is an in-depth directory to the top articles in biology and medicine, as recommended by a Faculty of over 5,000 expert scientists and clinical researchers, assisted by 5,000 associates. This button can be displayed in PubMed to know when an article is recommended.
To install it :

  Log in to MyNCBI on PubMed, and go to the Portlet "Filters" :
Click on "Manage Filters", Check the radio button "LinkOut" Choice "Literature",
then "Commentaries/Discussion" in the list below You can find F1000 :
check the two boxes : 1 to activate the filter,
the other to add F1000 button nearby the reference.
Filters are displayed in PubMed window right to the result list
  *You must be subscribed to F1000.

doab OAPEN is pleased to announce a new service for Open Access monographs: the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB). DOAB will provide a searchable index to peer-reviewed monographs and edited volumes published under an Open Access business model, with links to the full texts of the publications at the publisher’s website or repository.
  A number of academic publishers have already expressed their interest in taking part in

  Partnership between F1000 and Elsevier

F1000

Faculty of 1000 has partnered with Elsevier to launch a new app on SciVerse. If you subscribe to Scopus (or ScienceDirect) and F1000, this displays an "evaluated by F1000" badge next to each article in SciVerse that has been selected by our 10,000 experts. In addition, the badge links directly to the relevant evaluation within the F1000 site.
